STYLE NEVER GOES OUT OF DATE, UNLIKE FASHION; THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STYLE AND FASHION IS QUALITY
Every girls dream is a Chanel bag. The classic flap (3rd one in) is on the top of my 21st birthday present list... wishful thinking I know. These bags are just a few choices from the Classic Chanel collection varying from £1,000-£5,000. The bags consist of black leather, quilting and silver or gold trim and finishes. These style of bags are the basis of many girls outfits, adding a chic leather on the end of your arm really makes a difference, especially a Chanel as everyone knows what they are, even my dad.

Internship
In September 2011 I started an internship
at Reiss Head Office within the Marketing and E-Commerce department. Reiss is a
Design-led, Sexy, Modern, Iconic brand.
This placement entailed; typing up
data, helping update the Facebook , Twitter and Blog feeds as well as creating
outfit ensembles on Photoshop for social media posts. I have experienced the
day to day running’s of an office, fashion brand and business seeing it from
all aspects.
Working in this specific department showed
and taught me also about Merchandising, Creatives and Customer services. Within
the E-Commerce section I learnt how to update the website www.reiss.com with images and links for
products. I also experience a website re-launch whilst being there and a season
change of products SS11 to AW12. One of the perks of interning is sample
sales.. experience and office banter.
I thoroughly enjoyed my internship here which
I pursued for 7 months. Now I have transferred in-store to stay within the
brand but to start earning money whilst I complete my degree in Fashion Promotion.
Here are an example of the work I would do
for Reiss, but a few of my favorite outfits, which I will be breaking the bank for
to purchase asap.
Happy Pills
Studio M: Happy Pills... Shop bought drugs that are legally sanctioned by the government. They are a mixture of Candy and Drugs to bring you the happiest possible feeling.
The Packaging and display is jokey, fun and eye catching.
The store located in Spain, Barcelona Stands out with a Bright Pink Cross wedged in between two buildings.
Some packaging is similar to hospital tablet courses adding to the humour of the product.
Whole Jars can be bought which you fill up from the large pick and Mix selection, because of course you want to be happy while eating your favourite candy... You pick what size 'prescription' you want, then you fill the bottle up to your mood. 'Pink Clouds for Grey Days' and 'Instant Happyness' appeals to me the most, although I'm considering importing the 'Man Flu' flavour in bulk.
Hopefully this brilliant creation will be brought to the UK. But for now you have to shop online at www.happypills.es which has an english translation and a wide selection of yummy treats.

The Dreamy Del Rey
Mulberry have designed a new bag Del Rey, a
bag designed and from the inspiration of the singer Lana Del Reys signature
retro look This bag will not be released until late may, along with other
colours. I definitely have my eyes on it...
